GRAND WAILEA
Sustainability and the modern traveler were the focus of the 2014 Grand Wailea guest room and bathroom renovation.
The carpets were made from recycled materials, including nylon fishing nets, in a tile format for individual replacement and sustainable design. The furniture was designed with integrated modern technologies, such as charging stations and lighting, so guests can easily stay connected while they recharge in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands.
The themes of sustainability in a modern world were reflected in all design aspects and the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands remained central in the focus with all color schemes inspired by the lush local landscape and Haleakala Crater.
